In these contemporary times in which we reside in, it is extremely common to confuse reality with thought, facts with theory, and health with confirmation. Here we are, in the era of abundance, having everything we are able to ever imagine at the grasp of our finger tips, computer science has sky-rocketed allowing us usage of endless levels of information, anytime tretinoin gel, any moment. I mark ?food? with the quote unquote to signify my feeling of the topic, that are not to be mistaken. Most of what we find in food markets today is merely not food. Today?s norm would be to pick up a snack, or drive through some burger joint to stuff our bellies so we can get on with work, therefore slowly but surely, from the dawn of the industrial age, the products have come to displace what mother earth has given us, and what life itself is founded on, as food.
Real food, that is basically vegetables and fruit, nutrition wise at least (as many would argue on the taste factor), is the foundation of any healthy diet, not because it is so important and healthy to eat a sensible diet with vegetables inside it, but simply because it is food. The rest is not food. It could be hard to grasp in the beginning, peeping through the little crack that all of us have in our definitions of what food is, and seeing the reality behind the screen of illusion.
Health, true health, cannot be achieved and maintained in any other way. But what is health? I dare you! Try to define it for yourselves. Go ahead, take a minute, even 5, and really try and write down a definition you would feel relaxed with for the vague and illusive concept of health.
The Chinese have said that ?health is a state to be in the tao?. Walking your path, realizing yourself and allowing your true colors to show. It begins with the air we breath, the thoughts we think, also it leans mainly and strongly on the building materials we feed ourselves with. Regularly eating a sensible vegetables nutrition based diet is similar to putting the foundations so necessary for mental balance, an excellent physical feeling, happiness and well being ? the foundations so needed for?. Health. ?Why don’t we be about setting high standards forever, love, creativity, and wisdom. If our expectations in these areas are low, we have been not likely to see wellness. Wellness and health play an enormous and important part in my own life, my actions, my thoughts, and my schedule. I am presently leading twelve fitness classes weekly that vary from step aerobics, balance and core work on the large stability ball, weight lifting, modified yoga and many classes that focus on functionality. The participants are ages and the common denominator would be to have ?fun? while training. When i started searching for ?wellness? quotations, I came across excellent ones, but few. When I searched for ?health? I was completely impressed by the number. I could write 100 blogs filled up with ?health? quotations. So i picked some for you and for me personally which follow:
