Thai police track down, arrest suspect in bank theft case

Police arrested a person suspected of robbing a bank in the central province Saraburi and working off with around 210,000 baht in money. In an expedited investigation, with native police promising to find the suspect inside the week, officers tracked down and arrested 33 12 months old Weerachai Auttaparp at his house about 10 kilometres from the bank.

In simply 24 hours, officers were able to monitor down the suspect. According to police, the person first denied the costs, claiming he was out at a shop at the time the theft occurred. Officers say the suspect later admitted to robbing the financial institution, saying he lost his job two months in the past and wanted money.
